Very comfortable, hardly noticed them under my pants. Only con is that the waistband is a bit thicker/higher profile than I would like - I prefer the thin, single-layer elastic on my North Face baselayer.

I really like silk as a layering option, and these bottoms are no exception. I bought them to wear in northern India, and they worked really well under my nylon convertible travel pants. Provided just the right warmth, and stay in place better than my old Capilene bottoms. They're a bit on the 'delicate' side, so not sure how long they'll last with regular machine washing, but that's about the only down side. I wish that manufacturers would start making silk bottoms that weren't pointelle, as they'd probably be a bit more durable.

Super thin, these silk long underwear keep you warm without being bulky under your jeans. The natural wicking properties of silk keep you dry and comfortable. They wash and drip dry quickly. I would recommend it to everyone-- especially if you like to ski.

So much better than synthetic (capilene) base layer I previously used. I prefer a lower waist, so I fold the waistband over twice, and it stays in place without added bulk.

I love these pants. I wear them under dress pants and jeans when the weather gets cold. They are super comfy and warm and don't make me sweat (like the top which I love too). I am 5'8"/140 and ordered the medium. They fit perfectly. The length is long enough not to feel too short, but short enough to wear under dress pants without sticking out or feeling bulky. The material is very delicate so be careful not to get it next to any velcro like I did.
