These Keen sandals are great. I had spotted them, saw my sister-in-law had several pairs, and got at a nice sale price on website. I have to walk since I rely on public transportation and very much needed a walking sandal for summer - perfect. They are somewide wide, but comfortable and fit well. I think they are good-looking too, and the EMS sale price was great. Thank you.

This is the single most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever put on my feet. I bought them to use while taking my dog on walks at a local state park, but I've ended up using them for so much more. They're really durable and great for any activity... I have already recommended them to several friends.

These sandals have reliable comfort and durability along with an appealing understated sport look. Unlike some sport sandals that do not bridge the aesthetic gap, these wear well with all casual wear without looking like you are on your way to scale a mountain. Function with form- refreshing!

With narrow feet, it's hard to find a sandal in which my feet don't slosh around. The quick-draw laces adjust nicely to my foot and stay secure even while in water. Good traction on wet surfaces. The only "negative" is that I wouldn't call this color "slate." It's more like chocolate with a seafoam contrast. Actually, I prefer chocolate over slate.

This is my second pair of KEEN Women's Newport H2 Sandals, Slate color, and my first pair hasn't really worn out yet. I LOVE them. They have the sturdy sole of a sneaker with a water-friendly sandal on top; the protective toe box is the absolute BEST. I wear them everywhere, except to work. They are my preferred Jeep'n' footwear out west--my feet stay cool, the sand shakes right out, and scrambling around on rocks is not a problem with the toes protected. I have hiked in them, run through the woods in them, scrambled slick rock in them--they have a LOT of hard miles on them and the upper looks fine and the soles have many more miles left! My only issue (and you know if your feet are like this too) is that the footbed can collect sweaty foot goo in the pattern. They can get a good funk going with sweat and dirt. Luckily they go right in the wash for a good cleaning. This is by no means a show-stopper for me as this is my second pair, but just a note for others who know their feet can get 'ooky' :) My husband saw how I wore them so much (and retired my hiking boots) he got a pair too and now wears them all the time.

These sandals are great for ALL outdoor activities - boating, camping, hiking, kayaking, you name it! Also good just slipping on and washing the car or going to the grocery store!

I bought these sandals right before a trip to Acadia. Took them on a moderate hike. I probably should have worn my hiking boots, but these worked just fine. I slipped a couple times on wet rocks, but other than that the traction was really good. I hit my ankle once, but as I said, I probably should've worn my boots for this hike. They were very comfortable on the 4.4 mile hike. I have difficulty putting them on, but slipping them off is quite easy. Haven't gotten them wet yet.

Really like this shoe. First pair of Keens that I have and would definitely buy again. Allowed feet to breathe on hottest day of year while moving a lot of heavy furniture.
