Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Liner Gloves:

The gloves snag easily especially when coming in contact with Velcro. They do not add much warmth, but I found them very practical when hiking and my hands started sweating. When my hands had sweat up my outer gloves the liners made sliding my hands in and out of the gloves much easier. For that reason I never wanted to be without them.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Liner Gloves:

These liners are my second purchase of this product based on the performance of my original pair. My original pair are going strong, but wanted a backup pair when the others are in the wash. Function great as a liner both hiking and on my bike. I don't recommend wearing them as a primary glove though as the material will catch on things and could start to frey. They are a liner and if used as such will give good results and last a long time.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Liner Gloves:

Used as underglove / glove liner for skiing, snowboarding and motorcycling. It is a very nice product but wears out way too quickly. The moisture control is excellent. The feel is excellent. The fit is excellent.

Everything is awesome except for the fact that they can be used less than five times. If I were to wear them as just gloves I have a feeling they would last about a day at best.

I bought many pairs of them. One set started to fray very badly after only two days of snowboarding. A hole developed in the index finger of a different set after only four rides (motorcycle).

I do not recommend this product unless you are okay with spending $2 to $5 on gloves every time you go out. That being said, if you are okay with spending $2 to $5 on gloves for every ride, I don't think I've ever used a better glove liner... and I have tried many of them. The only thing that comes to close to these are some of the Hestra underglove / glover liner products and those are pricey too, but they last 10x longer.

Velcro is your enemy!
By Vermont Ice SkierVerified Reviewer from PA on 1/6/2010

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Liner Gloves:

They are great "out of the box." However, they will disintegrate quickly if you repeatedly touch any velcro. Unfortunately, in their most common capacity as glove liners, this is a common occurrence. This is not terribly different from some other glove liners I've used but a bit more durability would be an improvement.

Useful tool
By CarpenterVerified Reviewer from Newburyport, MA on 12/6/2009
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Liner Gloves:

I buy a new pair every fall. They get used every day, mostly by themselves, but under heavy gloves on real cold days, leather gloves at work and nylon gloves on the trails. They breathe well and my hands stay warm without losing the ability to work in them. Part of my everyday tool box.
