Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Techwick Liner Hat:
I purchased this liner as an addition to my layering quiver. It serves well as a base layer for your melon.
I recently spent the day (7am-4pm) outdoors, with temps varying between 18F and 30F, and I was able to wear just this liner for most of that time. There were a few periods of reduced activity when I added a fleece beanie, but the liner mostly kept my head comfortably warm on its own.
Despite periods of activity, no noticeable sweat accumulated under the liner. This is the primary reason I purchased this liner. Typically, wearing my fleece caps during physical activity results in a sweaty head and hat. This liner appears to have effectively wicked-away that sweat, leaving my head dry and warm.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Techwick Liner Hat:
A pretty simple piece of clothing, wicks well and is warm enough alone in 30 deg and above weather. I use it for skiing and also under other hats in colder weather. Great as a helmet liner. The seams are smooth and it's big enough to cover my ears or fold up into a beanie.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Techwick Liner Hat:
I have used one for a couple of years and it was time to get some more because of the versatility of this item. great under a motorcycle helmet, great for something that breathes and isn't too heavy outside, and great if you are a little chilly around the house.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Techwick Liner Hat:
Lightwieght cap. Fits nicely under a helmet or hood. Keeps head and ears warm. Can be worn by itself in moderate cold. I carry one in my backpack. Simple and functional.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Techwick Liner Hat:
Perfect fit and thickness for under helmet head cover. Very breathable and wicking material. This is not meant to be a hat to wear for just hanging outside when its cold, the material is not thick enough.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Techwick Liner Hat:
My husband hates thick bulky hats during the winter and this is thin and keeps his head warm! He loves it! This is the second one I have purchased for him!

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Techwick Liner Hat:
This hat is a good primary layer when it is really cold and a good 'only' layer when it is not so cold. It is also good for a night hat when camping, though you may need to put it back on. It could be made better to cover your ears.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Techwick Liner Hat:
The liner hat also served well as a cap when the temperature was just above freezing in the morning until it warmed up in the mid seventies and kept me fairly warm while outside but not yet active.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Techwick Liner Hat:
Quite a good hat. Would be even better if it had a contoured shape that fit down over the ears.
