I just finished a 18 mile back packing trip into a wilderness area in Colorado - the boots overall were great - I heard from friends that Vasque boots ran narrow, so I ordered a wide boot. Hiking in I had some hot spots on my toes, but after the rain and some tape on my toes, the boots seem to fit perfect - we back pack out in one day - 9 miles of rough terrian and not one single blister or hot spot.

I have a wide foot and finding shoes, whether they're stylish or for play, is very difficult. I tried 4 pairs from 4 different manufacturers (all from EMS). These fit the best, right out of the box and have been very comfortable on 4 to 8 mile hikes in the heat. I only wish they were a little higher around the back of the ankle.

When shopping for new boots, I must have tried on 12 pairs of high end boots (Over $100 dollars), but was immediately sold when I put these boots on. They are very comfortable and provide excellent support. Although this is not mentioned, the sole of these boots encourage correct posture. LOVE THESE BOOTS !

Bought these hiking boots to use with the snowshoes I received as a Christmas present. Wore them briefly around the house to get a feel for them. Have now been snowshoeing once - had a ball and the boots kept my feet warm and dry and worked really well with the straps of my snowshoes. Ended up wearing the boots for about six hours straight with no rubbing, blisters, or discomfort - even after coming in from the cold.
