Comments about MERRELL Women's Moab Ventilator Hiking Shoes, Taupe:
The only partial complaint I have, is the shoes hold cold air very well! And the reason why I say partial is because it only bothers me on the cold days - in the summer time, it's great to have the ventilating properties because my feet stay dry.
The traction on these shoes is like no other. I have tried several types of hiking shoes and nothing compares to the stability and no-slip qualities. I can run down a steep embankment and not feel the least bit unsafe. It amazes me everytime!
Merrell has become my new show love and until I find a crappy shoe - I will continue to buy Merrell hiking shoes.

Comments about MERRELL Women's Moab Ventilator Hiking Shoes, Taupe:
I wore these shoes on Pacific Northwest trip without breaking them in first. They held up very well on trails. Excellent traction. However, at the end of the day, the souls of my feet, particularly my heels, ached. Arch supports did correct the problem. The cushioning/support for the heels seemed awkward, as if best for narrow feet.

Comments about MERRELL Women's Moab Ventilator Hiking Shoes, Taupe:
This is my fifth pair of the Moab Ventilator. I buy a new pair every year, since I hike so many miles. They fit perfectly, allowing me to backpack 25 or more miles and never think about my feet. My foot is a little wide, so perhaps these might not be perfect for someone with a narrow foot. But, please Merrell, never stop making these!

Comments about MERRELL Women's Moab Ventilator Hiking Shoes, Taupe:
This was the best hiking shoe I've owned. After 4+ hours up steep, loose and somewhat rocky terrain and all types of footing, I was completely comfortable and did not slip or lose grip. Loved them. Light enough not to tire out my ankle or lower leg after a long hike. Would recommend to a friend. Only tiny modification would be the color choice was too masculine. (very minor)

Tried to replace an old, similar shoe which is no longer made. This shoe turns out to be equally comfortable.

Comments about MERRELL Women's Moab Ventilator Hiking Shoes, Taupe:
The first time I wore these I took a 5 mile hike. No blisters. My feet were absolutely comfortable. Icy conditions, but good traction and warm even though they are supposed to be cool in the summer. Feel roomy and light - as if I'm not wearing hiking shoes. Looking forward to hiking again in them today.

Comments about MERRELL Women's Moab Ventilator Hiking Shoes, Taupe:
I use this product walking every day. Love the flare at the bottom of the sole heel; gives it more stability. Heels do not wear down as fast as other makes. I love the toe width.
