Were great in some very sloppy summer conditions in the Adirondacks.Kept my feet friction free, dry and comfy on some all day scrambles. 2nd pair of socks from Smartwool, they make excellent hiking socks.

These socks are so plush and comfortable. I use them primarily in cooler weather and for outdoor activity. After a long day on your feet out in the elements is where you truly appreciate smartwool performance. Easy to care for however if you are line drying these socks they do take a bit longer because of their bulk. Bottom line is my feet stay warm, dry, and comfortable all day long.
