My last pair of similar Vasque boots lasted forever and were incredibly comfortable. I bought them ages ago, though, and so have discovered that Vasque's sizing seems to have shifted a bit in the 10+ years since my last purchase (no surprise, really!). I have long, flat, very narrow feet, and a size 10, which should have been plenty big were actually too short. I went up a half a size and am now delighted. The width is perfect and my feet feel comfortable and supported, and don't slip from side to side at all -- that's with orthotics in and proper hiking socks on. I stopped short of giving 5 stars because I've yet to actually hike in them, that comes in a few weeks! I totally trust this brand, though, and am confident that they will remain comfortable and prove to be durable and resilient on the trail.

These boots fit well and look nice, but I gotta say if I'm carrying anything heavier than a day pack my feet hurt so bad! I even purchased a $40 pair of insoles and they didn't really help. I've heard the same thing about Vasque boots in general from other people. So if you're just looking for a day-hiker these are fine but if you plan on carrying any kind of weight for an overnight trip these boots just don't get the job done!

We purchased these boots for my 12 year old daughter to replace the ones she had grown out of. She loves these boots and describes them as "really comfy". They take very little to no breaking in, and the fit is perfect. Personally, I prefer boots that give a little ankle support and protection, so these fit the bill perfectly. Overall, we are very pleased with these boots - pricey, but worth it in our opinion.

Perfectly comfortable from the moment I put them on. The arch is exceptional. (Note that my boots are medium, not narrow as the heading suggests).

Vasque boots are great. Bought a pair 40 years ago for hiking in the White Mountains because they came in narrow. 40 years later, I purchased another pair of boots because Vasque is one of only a few boot companies that still makes boots in a narrow width. Other boots may be labeled narrow, but they aren't narrow enough for my feet.(My feet are so narrow that I had to add a slim pad to take up a wee bit of room). The Breeze GTX did not require a break-in period, I just put them on and started hiking. The boots are very, very comfortable and light. Even with hallus rigidus in one toe and plantar facititis in the other foot, my feet are comfortable in these boots. Highly recommended!!

I purchased these boots for a few reasons.
1. I have very narrow feet and Vasque has always had the best boots for narrow feet.
2. Podiatrist said I need a boot with ankle support. This boot does it very well.
3. The toe box has wiggle room.

I love these and wear them everyday. First thing in the morning I put them on and they are on all day until night time.

Thank you EMS for carrying these boots in Narrows...you are one of the only companies I found that does! I tried on just about every boot out there and these are the ONLY ones that my heel doesn't slip in when walking up hill and my toes don't smash when going down! Wore them out of the box on a 3 mile, steep trail with a 30lb pack...felt great! No hot spots, lots of support, and great flexibility! (I claim to have the most sensitive feet in the world...super prone to blisters...so, I'm very impressed) (I bought a size 10...normally wear 9.5 - 10...fit is perfect) These boots will be taking me up Mt. Whitney in two weeks...fingers crossed they feel just as good as the first time out of the box!

i ordered these boots online because it was hard to find narrow width in hiking boots[...] they fit perfect!!! they did not need a break-in, they have been comfortable every time i've used them. will be heading to the grand canyon with them in a few months!! i have full confidence in my new boots that they will get me to the bottom of the canyon and back up. i am a senior citizen!!!

My second pair of these boots. Comfortable out of the box and that beats out any other qualities. Wish they lasted longer but reasonable price and there are few choices for those with narrow feet, none that fit better than these.
