Comments about ASOLO Women's TPS 520 GV Backpacking Boots:
These are the best boots I have ever had - love the high tops for excellent ankle support, the laces are very easy to use, the boot is waterproof, extremely warm, just a little heavy but I really don't mind it at all. This is a serious boot. I wear them every day not just for hiking. I receive many compliments on how good looking they are.

Comments about ASOLO Women's TPS 520 GV Backpacking Boots:
Haven't had this pair too long but have had other Asolos and they fit my feet well. Its hard to comment on the fit, you just have to try them and once you find a brand that works most models should work for you. These have stiff ankle support and need a bit of breaking in. Bought these primarily for the Vibram sole since the Asolo Stynger does not have and they slipped and slid with the least little bit of water. These aren't much heavier than canvas--certainly worth the weight/stiffness tradeoff on rocky trails and for carrying anything more than a daypack. Wore them in India and Nepal and they were not hot in +100 degree (or not as hot as I expected). Also worked super on rocks and snow. Headed for Kili and we'll see how long they last--I wore out the Styngers in 9 months so hope these will last longer.

Comments about ASOLO Women's TPS 520 GV Backpacking Boots:
3 of my kids have purchased this boot over the past 4 years and used them in the peaks of Colorado in the winter, the bottom of the Grand Canyon and the Green Mts in VT. They have not been disappointed and that's why I decided to get a pair. I've only had them a short time but I love them already. I did buy them a 1/2 size larger so I would have room for a heavier sock.I did this based on my kids recommendation and so far I've been pleased.

Comments about ASOLO Women's TPS 520 GV Backpacking Boots:
They are very comfortable for all types of hiking and walking. I will need to wait and see for durability. The leather is good quality and they are worth the money. Good water proofing. Great in the rugged Coastal Mountains of BC. They will be tested in the Alps from Italy to France this Summer!

Comments about ASOLO Women's TPS 520 GV Backpacking Boots:
I need a narrow shoe, and there are very few narrow shoes on the market and almost NO hiking shoes. A review said this shoe was true to size, so I trusted that, and literally opened the box, put them on, then went on a weekend adventure out of the box!! A perfect fit, comfortable, warm, everything I read about these shoes is true. The best purchase I have made in a long time. Worth every penny.

Comments about ASOLO Women's TPS 520 GV Backpacking Boots:
I had no time to break these boots in before heading out to climb three 4000 foot peaks in one day. I was in these boots for 11 hours straight! No hot spots, no blisters, no pain. They were great on very steep bald rock face as well as through mucky terrain. These are the perfect boot. Generally I am a long distance runner but am climbing all 46 high peaks in the Adirondaks, NY so my ankles aren't used to the support but they felt fine. Previously bought EMS's version and they were horrible. I would have finished hike in my socks if I thought it would have helped. (got to return them though for these Asolos!)

Comments about ASOLO Women's TPS 520 GV Backpacking Boots:
I use my Asolo's for day hikes in the White Mountains of NH. They are wonderfully comfortable with no foot problems at all. I wore out my first pair, which I now use for local hikes, and am well into my second pair, with many hundreds of miles of enjoyment already completed. I have three friends who have purchased them on my advice, and they all love them too.

Comments about ASOLO Women's TPS 520 GV Backpacking Boots:
These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned and require no breaking in period. I have just purchased my third pair. In addition to hiking, I wear them all winter for my everyday winter boots. I have just purchased a pair for my husband to wear as everyday boots and he can't get over how comfortable they are.
