I have worn these for the past five years, and just bought a second pair in black because I got tired of the grey color of my first pair (which still worked just fine).
I have not found any sandal that provides better protection for my feet. I wear these for any water activity that I do--boating, jet skiing, beach, lake, etc. They have already saved me from serious personal injury the time I flipped a jet ski on vacation in water that was filled with jagged volcanic rocks (which I could feel as I was trying to right the jet ski).
If you have wide feet, you should size up a half size or a full size. My first pair was a full size up, which was a little big for me, though not uncomfortable. The second pair I bought was a half size up, which fit me just fine. If in doubt, go with a full size up since you can't wear something that is too small.

I bought these sandals expecting to do some great water hikes, however I was very disappointed with the results. These sandals gave me blisters on the heals of my feet and left me in pain for weeks. Additionally they were heavy and uncomfortable to wear. I am extremely disappointed with this product, and I would not recommend it to anyone that would like to use it for water hiking.

I love this shoe for canoeing trips. It is by far the best shoe I have used when getting wet all the time. It fits like a sneaker so you can run comfortably in them as well. After wearing these for about 4 days straight 7 hours a day with no socks I did start to rub some skin raw so I would recommend wearing some wool socks with these.

I got this from EMS at a sale, so it was at a more reasonable price. These sandals are comfortable! Before this, I was using some other branded sports sandals - but they were rather uncomfortable and abrasive due to the materials used. Not so for the Keens -- these are very comfortable, and they look pretty durable too.
