Comments about ATC Appalachian Trail Guide, MA - CT:

I bought this map to better plan trips on the AT. It's accurate and gives good terrain details. The guide book is also very helpful in planning because it gives useful tips and info (detailed mileage). All the maps are topographical, which is really nice, and they provide bearings to use a compass with them as well. They feel pretty sturdy, but only time will tell. All in all a good buy. Can't beat a good map.

Comments about ATC Appalachian Trail Guide, MA - CT:

The maps contain lots of great information. There are two different style maps covering separate parts of the trail. Each reads clearly for different reasons. (one better on contours, the other on landmarks). I used them to lead two trips and while they were helpful and informative, you need another book or guide to help pick which section to do.
