Comments about PETZL Ice Flute Carrying Tubes:
After losing two screws off of my harness I found the Ice Flute a good alternative. I sling it over my shoulder and the screws are always at my finger tips. It also protects my clothing from the sharp ends of the screws and would add a safety factor in case of a fall. After climbing I just hand up the sling & Ice Flute to dry the screws. I also store the screws in the Ice Flute since it protect the tips and threads.

Comments about PETZL Ice Flute Carrying Tubes:
The Ice Flute is a nice, lightweight aid. My Black Diamond and Omega pacific screws fit just fine, and are secure and completely protoected. The flute is very light, and modular, too. Beats tearing up expensice pants or fumbling with caps.

Comments about PETZL Ice Flute Carrying Tubes:
I use ice screws for anchoring down kites for snowkiting. These holders make it safe and easy to carry the ice screws around without having to worry about the sharp edges. The belt clip is a great way to carry extras hile under way. The max size of ice screw these fit are 19cm.
