I must admit that I was worried, for no good reason, whether the net would be big enough. I had looked at others in the store and they all seemed too small for the hats I had to shade my balding head. No worry. The size is great, easy to use, and a life saver. I was camping in SW Yellowstone and the mesquitoes and flies were thick. Thanks to this net, things were tolerable. Best piece of camping equipment I had ever purchased. Thanks Sea to Summit!

This does what it is meant to do. You have to be careful to distinguish between inside and outside of the net or risk putting the net back on with the pests inside it.
I wonder if another color would be better for the net, a color the flies and mosquitoes are not attracted to, a light and bright color.

My husband and I were out for a day hike and the little gnat like bugs were awful. We keep these in our packs all the time,so we whipped them out. We passed many people on the trail, their first look was quizzical, but after that first look they realized what we had and were offering to buy them. They really are great.

I bought this for the Wonderland trail hike this year. We were out for 5 nights. All but one night was buggy - biting flies and mosquitos. My two buddies used bug spray to no effect against the flies. I was able to go about my camp chores without constantly swatting at bugs landing on my face and neck.
It's superlight, packs down super small and cheap. It's an absolute no brainer.

i like the fact u can use it with whatever hat u like. i also like the fact it doesnt weigh alot so it is good to take on hiking trips. the price is also very good for the items quality.it is also good to bring along camping or fishing even.
