    Comments about PETZL Stop Descender:

This thing works great. Only problem is it is difficult to pull the rope through to take up slack when ascending. Other than that it's awsume. I use mine in rock climbing and doing roof & building pressure washing.

      Comments about PETZL Stop Descender:

i use this product for dropping vertical pits and rapelling walls. it is great when the rope is dry. not so great when your heavy duty rope is wet! overall this device can be used for almost every kind of decent and i would recomend it to anyone who is interested. it is also good to keep your old school decending rack as a back up for wet conditions such as some pits or sink holes and in some caving conditions. it is a fun device to opperate and gives you confidence when your life depends on it! Comments about PETZL Stop Descender:

Used extensively in the Philippines where standardization is important due to possible language barriers. It allows for a carabiner on the screw link as a safety second with the rope threaded through.
