My wife and I do allot of backpacking and we use hammocks instead of a tent. I saw a video that showed the Omega Pacific rappel rings used for a fast setup/takedown suspension system for hammocks. I purchased eight of them for that specific purpose. The rings performed perfectly. They are lightweight, tough and can be used for multiple applications. Great product.

Rescue work. One can never travel to light, nor with enough gear. This uses no space and can be used to rappel and as a light back up link or pulley.
