Comments about NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC NAT GEO Adirondack Park Map, Lake Placid/High Peaks:
These NG maps are excellent. Waterproof, rip-proof...even easy to fold. Hikers should also get the Adirondack Mountain Clubs guides and maps for better trail details. Canoeists and kayakers should also get the Adirondack Paddlers Map from St Regis Outfitters for more detail on routes and portages. These are must have maps for explorers.
