Comments about THULE Bike Stacker:
The Thule Bike Stacker (BSTK2) was easy to assemble. One joint on each side of the base was a bit tricky due to three pieces coming together, but I was forewarned of it by another review and found it to be less of a hassle than I had feared. Only one simple tool required as noted by yet another reviewer. The stand is very sturdy with any configuration of bikes on it (i.e. two bikes or only one bike either on the top or bottom). I think it is an excellent product. Upon opening the package and laying out the parts, I thought it was shipped without all of the knobs used on the adjustable 'arms'. Turns out some of them were hiding inside the cavity of the 'cradles' that hold the bikes. Nothing was missing afterall. The rack nicely holds the varied assortment of road bikes my family owns, including a youth size (650c wheels), sloped top tubes, time trial bike, etc, though on a couple of the bikes I found it either advantageous or necessary (in the case of the youth bike) to hold a bike behind the seat via the seat stays. Rather than a detractor, I think the ability to do this is actually a plus. A pitch for the staff at EMS--I spoke to three of them during the process of shopping and buying and when I thought the racks had been shipped with some of the knobs missing. In every case the EMS representative was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and patient. I strongly recommend both the Thule Bike Stacker (BSTK2) and EMS!

Comments about THULE Bike Stacker:
Another quality product from Thule. The stacker is rugged and well balanced. It is easy and quick to assemble with a minimum of parts. It holds two mountain bikes easily and is rock solid in place. The only design change I would make would be to use spring loaded pins and holes for the arm adjusts rather than the turnscews (which tend to want to take the bracket off-center and isn't nearly as strong a connection). All in all, I am very satisfied.

Comments about THULE Bike Stacker:
I got this for my wife's bikes because she finds it a bit tricky to get her bikes off a roof hanger.
It takes more space than a couple of roof hangers, but holds the bikes quite nicely.
It really needs a fairly straight cross bar, or an adapter. Odd shaped frames are difficult, or impossible to hang without one.
Comments about THULE Bike Stacker:
Use this rack for Cannondale road bikes in our garage. Was easy to assemble. Very sturdy and doesn't rock. Adjustable arms. perfect for basic needs. no complaints and it's been a month. We're thinking about buying another one for our in-town bikes.
