- Uses two high-powered LEDs - a combination of a diffused lens and a collimated focused lens creates a very bright 180° beam pattern that alternates between a wider beam and a narrow beam
- Because the eye must juggle the wide and narrow beams it doesn't get a chance to relax, resulting in a very high level of visibility

This is the third light I bought for commuting at night. The other two broke easily and were not as bright. I love that it has an easy to turn on switch. I can turn it on as it gets dark or turn it off to conserve the batteries. It is very durable and has help up to trails, crashes, and frequest removal from the bike. I bought a second because I thnk you should at least have 2 rear lights on your bike for riding back roads at night. If it were rechargable it would be the best light in the world.

The light itself is fine, has 3 different settings, is very bright and much larger than I am used to but willing to trade a bit of extra weight for safety. The rubber band used to mount it to different parts of the frame snapped within a week. I'm holding it on with zip ties which are doing the job but would not recommend buying this until the manufacturer provides more reliable, resilient mounting bands.

I was looking for a bright light that could be securely mounted on the rear stay that was reasonably priced. This one met all the requirements I was looking for. At first the mount appeared to be be a little cumbersome, but it is secure and very bright.
