I use this look for years now in center city Philadelphia every day. The two times bikes were stolen was when I did NOT use this lock. It fits perfectly around parking meter poles in the city, is relative light, compared to a chain and the locking mechanism works great even after years being exposed 24/7 to the elements. Only improvement that could be made is the way it attaches to the bike (it's OK but not perfect).
