Comments about MAMMUT Barryvox Pulse Avalanche Beacon:
This is an advanced but easy to use avalanche transeiver, once you have worked out how to use it as the manual is not very helpful in places, not least in the set up. The set up screens are not even described in the manual. One more detail, that is not Mammut's fault but should be advised to customers, is that the W-link, a data channel distinct from the international avalanche beacon channel, operates on a different frequency in the US to Europe and because of US regulations a user cannot reset it themselves. If you are off to Europe you have a problem as one has to go to a Mammut authorised service centre in Europe for that.

Comments about MAMMUT Barryvox Pulse Avalanche Beacon:
These are super easy to learn how to use. So much better than my old ortovox. We practiced with my kids (age 8 and 10), and they were able to find even two buried beacons.

Comments about MAMMUT Barryvox Pulse Avalanche Beacon:
This digital avalanche beacon is easy to use and very effective. It is consistently a top performer in rescue exercises. I have been able to locate buried beacons when others have had difficulty. The interface is simple. It handles multiple burials well. The pouch and carrying strap are comfortable. Very happy with my purchase.
