Best lil light out there. I added this lamp to my gear after purchasing the BD Apollo. This is a perfect lamp/size for a tent light. Output is amazing for such a small size, and the run time is far better than expected. The tiny size and external clip means it will "always" be with me in or on my pack.

This lamp gives one everything they need in a small camp light and paired with the Apollo, will be more than enough to illuminate any campsite

This little lantern is wonderful. Strong light output for its size--can't tell much difference between the Orbit and the much larger Apollo when compared in the dark. However, the run time on the Apollo is supposed to be much longer than the Orbit. I have not had the chance to compare actual run times for both lanterns, but for my 2 or 3 night excursions I expect they will last more than long enough. I also compared the Orbit to a similar sized Coleman lantern run by 3 AA batteries and the Orbit was much brighter. It is a bit expensive, but compared to the Apollow it seems like a good buy.

i had looked in to purchasing one of these lights previously and did not due to the ridiculous price. After finally buying the lantern i realized that all the reviews did not parallel the actual lanterns performance. yes this is slightly above average in light output for its size but after paying [$] i hoped for extrodenary performance which i did not receive. this light is built with quality but does not put out extraordinary amounts of light

bought this for hurricane season, when power goes out. love it! Things that are great about it: easy to turn on with very bright output. I leave it at bedside, for occasional stumbles to the bathroom.
for travel, I use it on London flight, to see where I'm going when cabin is dark. Very lightweight and convenient to store in carry-on bag. Only improvement I recommend is a glow-in-the-dark feature.

When I turned it on, I was shocked! I didn't expect for this tiny little lantern to project such bright light. Took me awhile to figure out how to adjust but once I figured it out, I was a very happy camper!

Nice little lantern, smaller than I thought it would be (4" tall). Well designed with folding hooks on top and non-slip feet built into base...
Bought it for the house for power failures, it's bright enough to light a room up..

Very light, packs small. Uses AAA as my headlamp. Great little light for around the camp during minimalist treks. Just wish the light output was just alittle brighter.

Cant say enough about this lantern. Small, lightweight, adjustable and gives off good light. What more could you ask for? Was able to read my book in my tent with the light adjusted at half strength. Takes up virtually no room in my pack and weighs almost nothing. 5 stars

Well designed light. I own several high end flashlights and this is just a really cool little light. Very bright and throws a good beam out. It's by far the most convenient lantern I've ever seen.

easy to use ,compact
