Shame on me for not paying more attention to the specs for this, because it's HUGE. The compression straps don't help much either, as it's still huge. I'll use my Petzl bag much more often than this one. Recommend ONLY if you need a bag that carries more than crampons.

the bag is well-made and a good size. haven't tested it out yet.. unfortunately, the bag is black, not the happy orange in the picture. annoying since EVERYTHING is black these days... but as far as the product goes - looks great!

This bag is great just keep in mind that it is rather large. Just to give you an idea how big this bag is:
I actually use this bag to carry both, my crampons and my girlfriend's, plus two sets of our micro spikes.
So if you're the mule, like I am :), on your winter mountain adventures...this bag is perfect.

I like the all black color.
I hate those flourescent colors on backpacking equipment.
Most advanced backpackers prefer black.
A lot of loops for fastening would have been nice.

Bought this for my Grivel G10 crampons, since Grivel closed its North American dealer. Works well, could be an inch or two longer. Overall works!

functionally the bag is spot-on, i only wish mine (solid black) was the nice stripey orange/black in the picture. really a great product.

I liked the orange color depicted not the black that came. Everything is black nowadays. Which makes things difficult to find and differentiate in a dark pack. Also the bag is much to large. very tough and keeps the crampons from damaging pack and its contents.
