Hello, This was bought to replace the factory leash on a Camp mountaineering axe. Biggest complaint was that the axe doesn't really have a good spot for the leash to attach (not the leash's fault). Once I thought it through I was able to get it rigged. Strap is comfortable but I have yet to get it out to Tuck's, etc. to really comment on performance
