Comments about BLACK DIAMOND Reactor Ice Tool:
As I was getting into climbing ice, I tried a few different types/makers of axes and the reactors are by FAR the best ones for me. They make solid plants in the ice mostly on first attempts, which is great for me since I am a female, and not the strongest one out there at all, so my arms fatigue quickly. They are super lightweight and at good price, since I found them to be in the middle of the cost range. The only drawback for me is that they are leashless, and there are times when I wish that I had the added security of a leash so that I don't lose one of my reactors. They do have holes on the ends to secure them onto a biner or whatnot when not in use, tho. So glad that I bought these...

Comments about BLACK DIAMOND Reactor Ice Tool:
I got these for my wife and she enjoys climbing with them. She climbed with the Reactors for about fifteen days now and no problems to report. They seem to swing well even for a beginner. Great price!
