Comments about BLACK DIAMOND Zodiac Gear Sling:
I've only used this a few times but definitely like it better than an "over-the-shoulder" sling. Keeps gear a little higher up making it easier to get to gear on your harness and a little closer to our body so it seems to stay more out of the way during climbing.

Comments about BLACK DIAMOND Zodiac Gear Sling:
I like the way it distributes gear weight. Also allows for a very organized rack. Over the shoulder gear slings leave me with a big lump of gear hanging on one side. A little overkill for 2-3 pitches but who cares!

Comments about BLACK DIAMOND Zodiac Gear Sling:
I've never liked gear slings before I found this one. It really is a good design, more of a backpack than a sling. It keeps the weight more evenly distributed on both your shoulders rather than just one, and doesn't shift about much as you climb. I have no problem getting my whole rack on it either, so its great for approaches. Just throw it, a Camelback and a rope over your shoulders and you're ready to go.
