These holds were bought as a Christmas gift, so I can not answer as far as use (at least not yet), but when I checked out the package of holds before wrapping them, I was amazed by the variety, I did not notice any that were the same. I decided to start building a climbing wall at my house so I bought these since you get a good variety of holds for a decent price. The holds are on the smaller side so you should take that into account when buying them.

Just started to build my own wall in my garage. Bought these, great for their price. Very easy to install. So far they can hold any amount of weight put on them. Only problem was having to drill out the holes a little bigger so the screws would fit. Other than that, I'm very satisfied.

This is a great realistic set that can be used as micro crimps or footholds on a vertical wall. They also work great as footholds on a 45 degree wall for the experienced climber.

Most holds require a 3/8 bolt that screws into a nut behind the wall. If you are interested in placing holds in a wall where the back of the wall is inaccesible, these holds are great since they can be screwed directly to the wall with wood screws. However the holds are very small and therefore are not the best for beginners or young climbers.

The grips were easy to install and have remained sturdy. There are a good number and variety of grips but they are all very small and challenging. If you're looking for some harder holds, these are the ones for you.
