Comments about LIGHT MY FIRE Spork:
This little guy was a great tool for eating. The above describes this perfectly; easy to clean, durable, efficient, and compact. A friend and I bicycled across the US and used this the whole way to eat all of our meals! Thanks EMS!

Comments about LIGHT MY FIRE Spork:
Overall, excellent. Be careful using it since it is dual-sided (the fork/knife or spoon side becomes your handle), so that you don't put your hand around what you just ate.

Wish there were more colors. I got the pink and the red sporks for Valentine's Day gifts for my office mates.

Comments about LIGHT MY FIRE Spork:
I have used this for almost 2 years and probably over 25 campouts in scouting. It has faded to a grey color due to so much use. The only problem is that the knife would be not as fast to cut say a steak compared to a fork and knife, seperate.

Comments about LIGHT MY FIRE Spork:
Initailly I really liked this product. However, I have used for three weekend backpacking trips and already broke a spork tip off. Was just using the spoon side when the tip just snapped in my hand. I don't think I was rough with it at all, but may decide to go with the titanium spork: despite the heavier weight, at least it won't break just because I held it.

Comments about LIGHT MY FIRE Spork:
Originally, I would have given this a 5 out of 5, but I have had 2 out of my 3 break. I use the product on a daily basis for lunch in the office, and in about 4 months of use, 2 have snapped in the past month. Don't get me wrong, I think they are a great product. They are easy to eat with, cut chicken well for a plastic spork, and easy to throw in the dishwasher and pack in the lunch bag. They are pretty durable, but I am thinking I would have had better luck with the Titanium spork. I really am not that hard on the plastic when I use it, but maybe the dishwasher weakened it over time. Not sure, but the Light My Fire site states they are machine washable. Hopefully that means the dishwasher and not the laundry.
Over all, I have and will continue to recommend them to friends and coworkers, but I think my replacements will be the titanium spork.

Comments about LIGHT MY FIRE Spork:
I took 6 kids (ages 13-16) on a week long fishing trip in the back country. Each kid was given one of these sporks. As you can imagine kids can be very hard on gear! These sporks took all kinds of abuse! Not one was broken! Very durable! Very usefull! Get one!

Comments about LIGHT MY FIRE Spork:
Works great. Don't know why you would boil it. I'm not surprised that it fell apart. I like it b/c it's simple and easy to clean. Mostly...it's light.

Merchant response: Sorry to hear this broke! Overall the response on this item has been positive according to the other reviews. The Titanium versions, while 3-4 times more expensive certainly will last longer!
