Comments about LA SPORTIVA Baruntse Mountaineering Boots:

This boot performed very well on my mid winter ascent of MT Washington in legit blizzard conditions. I have no complaints on the performance of the boot at all...It performed the approach / tech climb / summit hike all flawlessly. The only reason why I refrain from giving it 5 stars is the high cost, but worst of all, after only 3 days of use, the rubber rand that wraps around the lower portion of the boot began to slip / show the first signs of delamination. I ended up returning them. I do not know if that is a common problem or just my bad luck. [...]. If you can get this boot on sale, great ! not worth retail price though. These boots were super comfortable / and kept my feet warm during the worst weather I have ever experienced. I would wear these on Denali without hesitation.

Great boots. Inner boots dries fast at night in your sleeping bag. Went in Ecuador at 5300 + meters at night and never had cold feet.

Comments about LA SPORTIVA Baruntse Mountaineering Boots:

I used these boots in the middle of winter in Alaska with -20 temps and felt warm and comfortable the entire time. Also used them to climb the north face of Mt Shasta and was toasty all the way to the summit. Had a little bit of ankle rub but I believe that was do to the boots still being fairly new. They do have great ankle support. Without it I would have cracked my ankle several times. I would recommend these boots.

Nice boot. Expensive. but if you have cold feet these boots climb better then plastics and keep you feet as warm.

First time I've had warm toes and my partner didn't.

I like the heat form inner boot. Drastically decreases break-in time.
