They do what they're supposed to do: hold skis together. The only complaint I'd have is the velcro goes all the way to the end of the strap, so there's no tab to grab when you try to remove the strap. It'd be better if there was an inch of no velcro or a pull tab at the end. Then you could remove it without taking your gloves off.
