I bought this rack to be able to commute to work on my bicycle. It is all that I expected and more. I was able to mount it to the lugs on my mountain bike, and it is so sturdy that it might as well be part of the frame. I use it with a panier and/or a Topeak MTX Trunk that I bought to carry clothes and food on daily basis. On the weekends, I have strapped items to it with bungees. Very light, strong, and versatile.
