The chain cleaner works well - I commute in winter in Vermont, so there's a lot of road salt & grit that build up. The chain sparkles after cleaning. However, watch out for the chain cleaner bottle - it's definitely not leakproof! Even after cranking the top down, the chain cleaner will leak out prodigously after opening, which has proven messy a couple times. Make sure to keep it upright!

been wanting to get one for a while just did not want to spend so much on it. I'm very happy that I did though. really any degreaser will work in it, if you run out of the solution that comes with it. I used it the first day on my bikes then on a few friends bikes.
