This bell is relatively loud, and rings at around 3KHz based on my simple test. It's a great bell for navigating the local bike paths- simple construction and easy to mount for right or left-handed use.

This bell is better than I expected! Very easy to use bell - just flick the little "tab" with your thumb or finger. I don't need to use as much pressure as I do with the "old fashioned" lever style bells. Easy to mount on the handle bar. I can pretty much position it however I like. It's even smaller than I imagined. Feels pretty heavy duty. Cool!

people don't always hear an "on your left" - have found a bright-sounding bell works much better getting people's attention! this bell is not obnoxious, it's a nice little "ting", almost like an old-fashioned ice cream truck. also nice that it's maneuverable so you can use it lefty or righty and is very easy to hit with either a thumb or finger, depending on how you set it on the handlebars. Love it!
