I'm training for a century and regularly commute to work. This seat beat out my [$] one easily. After a history of "going numb" and wanting to preserve my girl parts, I made the switch and am so glad I did. It shouldn't be a choice between a healthy sex life and a bike ride. Thus, the century.

This saddle is very comfortable! I put it on my new mountain bike for longer rides on trails and uneven pavement. It's a butt-saver, and you can't beat the price! It's also pretty lightweight for a saddle with this much padding. The only drawback is that the nose is a little wide which can lead to chafing, especially riding in wet weather or hot, humid conditions.

Very nice cushoning that provides much needed soft tissue relief for those half centuries and centuries. Drys pretty quick after rains and durable.

As with most bike seats, this seat needs some seriously personal adjustment to be just right and can be painful until you get there. In general, much better than my previous seat and is far more comfortable.

I was a little disappointed that Planet bike didn't list the dimensions of the seat in their description.
Going on the reviews I thought I was getting a great seat for the price. While it is a good seat for the occasional rider, for the avid cyclist not the best choice. Oh well you get what you pay for!

I finally replaced the stock seat on my bicycle with this seat and took it on a 28 mile ride this weekend and I love it! Finally, no more getting a sore bum after 5 miles. It was comfortable throughout the entire ride. I was looking at other seats from other recreational retailers for twice the price but I settled on this one after reading the great reviews and the price is fantastic. I can't say anything for the durability yet but this is sure to make long bike rides a lot more enjoyable.

I was invited to enter/ride with a friend in an organized bike ride...there were 4 distances, we rode 48 hilly miles. Getting ready for the ride I bruised myself because of the design of the seat on my bike and the milage. This seat is designed to prevent that problem from occuring to the pressure point(s)of this female and others from the reviews I read.

The ARS is a big improvement over my original gel saddle. I should have got my ARS in gear a long time ago.
