My girlfriend and I bought these towels for RAGBRAI, a week-long cycling ride across Iowa. We used tent showers everyday and the "Personal" size was more than enough to dry off.

We packed our gear and moved everyday in humid, sometimes wet, conditions (with minimal time for line drying). The towels were always dry when we needed them next. We got them in two different colors so we could quickly tell them apart.

I was surprised how nice the material felt against wet skin: thick, not too shammy-like, very soft and absorbent.

They are easily packable in the included mesh bag; and this is how we stored them during the trip. Don't know about durability, having only used them for a week, but so far they are exactly what we were looking for...

It was the perfect towel for a 3 week backpacking trip. It dried fast, was super soft compared to my old one from about 5 years ago and absorbed so much water it even made my hair dry faster.

Great light towel that packs well, dries the individual well, and then air-dries quickly. Though I use it for hiking, I also use it almost daily at the gym and it is completely dry after hanging in the house for just a few hours. Packs small and light.

Caution: the only word of caution is that I have to be careful with the velcro on the carrying bag. It is quite well made and tends to snag any wool clothes that I have near it. This isn't the product's fault or a down side, but just something to be mindful of, if you're like me and wear a lot of merino products.

These are the best pack towels I found. This year I used them as Christmas gifts. The only no-snag microfiber that I have found in a towel.

This towel is everything as advertised: soft, very absorbent, quick to dry. Please note, because it is so absorbent, it will not slide on your body as most threaded towels do.

I couldn't believe I spent [$] on a towel, but it really cut back on the weight and space being used in my pack. The XL is large enough to use as a wash towel or beach towel, but not as heavy and bulky. Worth the price!

For the beach, you need the XL size.
