My family loves pack towels and always had used the small ones. We decided to try this one and it is simply too big. These towels are so absorbent there is simply no reason to have one this large and bulky.

Well I heard that the pack towel was great so i tried it on a light hiking trip I am getting ready to hike the A.T from GA 2 Maine and I ((WILL)) be taking the pack towel.A little big when you first get it but wash it it packs down great..

I like the fast drying towels and I take it to the gym when I'm not traveling. This towel is a large and barely covers my top half. I've purchased other "larges" and they were in fact, large. I also think that it shrunk some, even though I only washed it once and did NOT dry it.
It does what it's supposed to, but I was hoping for a towel I could use at the gym or while camping that could at least cover my torso.

this is a good product, works very well. but the only gripe is that it shrinks in size after a single wash and dry cycle, i have the ultralite version of this same msr packtowl, and that doesnt seem to have this problem, cant say about the personal version.

6' and 160 dried me off well with no complaints. dries in about an hour at 75 degrees so no issues with over night. Like the loop, will but one if this ever goes bad

Absorbent, but for drying off skin, it could work a little better...
For weight and portability, it was fantastic!
The snap loop for hanging is a great idea!
It is a little rough at first, but does get softer with each washing.
