    I used this to carry food for 4 while hiking in Montana. In addition to keeping dry, I also hoped it would not vent any odors as we didn't want to attact any unwanted critters. Since we didn't have any "close encounters" of that kind I would have to say it performed well for that reason also. However, I did find an almost Identical item for a fraction of the cost of this so that's the only reason it didn't get 5 stars.

      These bags are water resistant, lightweight, and flexible. Some dry bags are difficult to fold and seal - but these are quick and easy. My son uses them to keep his scout backpack organized and equipment dry - why organize with stuff sacks and ditty bags when you can use these color-coated bags to keep everything organized AND dry?

      These are also GREAT to hold your things if you go to a rainy stadium event!
