Good size for those wanting a larger, absorbent travel towel. I can find lots of smaller towels for my pack, but for long trips I like to take a full sized towel. They got the size right.
The texture, drying, and feel is better than the smooth absorbent camping towels. But he waffle texture on the REI camping towels is better in my opinion. Hopefully EMS will make some waffled camping towels.
Be sure to wash it alone the first time. The color bleeds bad on the first washing. That surprise alone makes me not give it a total thumbs up reccommendation.

I took this towel on a spring trip to Bologna, Italy, where it was raining all the time, and the towel simply wouldn't dry. I wrung and wrung to get the water out but the towel just wouldn't dry. I ended up using it only the first day since it was still wet for the rest of the 4 day trip.
It dries the body well but there's a very subtle rubbery feeling to it.
