Comments about SEA TO SUMMIT eVent Compression Dry Sack, Medium:
This is a good, effective compression sack, and waterproof too. Unfortunately, little guidance is offered for sizing. I wanted it for a sleeping bag and it (medium size) is too small for that.

Comments about SEA TO SUMMIT eVent Compression Dry Sack, Medium:
I use mine for my 5° down sleeping bag. It compresses nicely and assures me it will stay dry no matter what. This bag would also work well for storing fleece clothing.

Comments about SEA TO SUMMIT eVent Compression Dry Sack, Medium:
This seemed like a very well constructed compression sack but it is not good for backpacking. It doesn't pack well and leaves a lot of open space. I ended up returning it to the store.

Comments about SEA TO SUMMIT eVent Compression Dry Sack, Medium:
i usually use compression sacks for your typical hike and canoe weekend escapes, while on a four days canoe trip we've hit a storm and this sack was the only thing that did not get soaked by the storm. i bought this item by accident thinking it was a regular compression sack... best accident ever! it is lightweight and even if you drop it in the water it remaind dry and deos not leak.

Merchant response: The only thing we can think of is the vent wasn't allowing air to escape when the sack was being compressed. Otherwise it packs and compresses like a champ!
