Introducing a completely new concept in compression dry bags - no valve. This innovative sack uses an air-permeable base made of eVent waterproof fabric, which allows air to be pushed out of the sack but won't allow water back in.

I bought this for a "backpacking" trip through Panama and found it to be AMAZING!!!! it is light weight, durable and water proof. It is really prefect for multi stage trips that require different temperatures of clothing. The area was experiencing extreme rain and flooding and our stuff was dry.
FYI-it appears to be a porous membrane at the bottom through which the air is allowed to escape, so it takes a few seconds to get the air out. I would compress it until I saw it balloon and then let is set for a few seconds. And do it again.
One more FYI - from a size standpoint i found this to easily hold about 4-5 changes of clothes including a fleece, a couple of long sleeves, and a small towel

I use this size to stuff my 0 degree down bag and compress it so it takes a lot less space. By doing this I don't have to worry that my bag will be wet when I get to camp. Use smaller size to keep my extra clothes dry.

Very nice, large volume, dry stuff sack. Comes with compression straps to diminish packing space, and an end strap which acts as a handle after the bag is packed. I really don't have anything bad to say about this product, it delivers what it promises.

I bought this for the compression abilites and ended up with the added bonus of the "dry" sack. With large size, I stuffed my sleeping bag and extra clothes in it, and when I fell in a river this weekend, I was lucky cause everything in this sack was still perfectly dry!

Worked great in the BWCA at keeping the clothes dry and compact. The air release through the material is a nice feature. After my purchase 4 other members of our group also bought this product. Only problem was determining which of the five bags was mine.
