    • Adjusts to fit torsos 14-20 in.; hips 25-29 in.; approximate age range 12-16 yr.
    • Rigid foam framesheet keeps contents supported and backs protected
    • Ventilated molded AirScape foam back panel promotes air circulation
    • Perforated stretchable EVA shoulder harness with mesh outer cover for flexible movement
    • Reflective tabs on shoulder harness straps; stretch pocket on left strap
    • Size-adjustable spacer-mesh covered foam hip belt with integrated zip pockets
    • Top loading access with spindrift collar
    • Attached zip top pocket with key clip and water resistant ID sleeve
    • Internal hydration sleeve with left or right tube port
    • Reflective stretch woven front pocket for a hat, gloves, and rain gear and a front vertical zip pocket
    • Daisy chains with a reflective bungee attachment; axe loop

Great for lightweight Boy Scout camping

      I purchased this for my son when he joined Boy Scouts about a year ago and he has used this on his monthly campouts. I am an experienced backpacker and was very impressed with the quality and features of this pack - very hard to find for a boy-sized pack. It has plenty of sizing flexibility and was easy to adjust. I would highly recommend this for a boy scout who values lightweight (backpacking-type) camping and wants to move on to more high adventure (backpacking, Philmont, mountaineering, etc) activities in the future. It can carry everything my son needs for a boy scout campout with room to spare - but be aware that my son has "backpacking" type gear and clothing. If, however, your son's gear is more of the "car camping" type (as many/most scout's gear is - meaning heavier, larger, and less compactable) then you may be better off with the traditional Kelty Yukon - its biggest benefit (and drawback) is that it can carry a ton of gear.

        I bought this for my son just starting in Scouts, not only because it is EMS Quality but the features are supurb like the cinch straps on the shoulder rests and the access/quality/durablity. I recomend this to Boy Scouts aged 11-16.
