For storing individual portions of powders, this is the best. Attractive design, secure stacking, and durability (I've had 10 jars for over 10 years, and just bought 10 more, not as replacements but to increase # of jars). I use them to mix combinations of protein powders, minerals, etc. into single-portion sizes. They are perfect for this. I understand they are not water-tight, but that is of no importance to me.

I found out the hard way these aren't leakproof - high on an alpine trail with my drawing ink sloshed out.
