Love to bring my own water with me. All the aluminum bottles look great but hurt to hold-they're too cold. The chill jacket on this camelbak bottle makes all the difference. It keeps the contents cold longer and doesn't makes my hands ache with the cold. Buy it. You won't be sorry.

I've used tons of water bottles, and this is by far my favorite. It's a little more expensive then other water bottles but it's worth the price. The locking mechanism to keep it from spilling in car/bag/pocket works amazingly well. There is no plastic taste whatsoever even after leaving water in the bottle in a hot car for 2 days (don't judge me we've all done it). I haven't tried warm liquids (besides the old water) but it keeps cold liquids cold for quite a while. Also, I've used these at work with drink mixes inside the bottle and it doesn't retain those flavors either. Can be cleaned in the dishwasher (except the lid). I use it for work/gym/canoeing/cycling/hiking/running.

The insulated bottle really helps keep your water cool. I went for a short day hike with a friend and we left our water bottles baking in my car. When we got back her water was hot but the CamelBak bottle kept mine cool. I've also taken it cycling and it worked great, the valve on top prevents water from spilling even when left open. You can also lock the valve and throw it in your pack. My only complaint is that the last few sips sputter out and are difficult to get at.

My favorite thing about the water bottle is that it fits into my cup holder in my car. I know, not exactly the most outdoors place, but at least it is multi-functional. The mouth piece is good because even with dirty hands you're not touching the part that contacts your mouth!

I like the drinking spout design, no pulling in and out required; nice feel in the hand as well, easy to use on the bike with good flow. However, I think they should insulate the lid. Instead, it is black which possibly diminishes its ability to keep water cold. I wish it kept water colder on the bike (where its more exposed to heat than in a bag.)

Great bottle. I use it when I go cycling. It keeps the temperature of the water cool due to it being insulated. I place ice cubes in it with a little water for hot days and this usually keeps the water at a cool temp for a little while.

great nozzle design, twist to open and the nozzle is silicone so it is gentle on your teeth. keeps your water at a pleasant drinking temperature. without the insulation, the water would be an unpleasant lukewarm.

Read a raving review of this product on a generally spot-on source (RBR). Very hot summer here in New England and the prospect of a cool bottle on longer rides enticed me to pay [$] for a plastic bottle. The Camelback valve is truly revolutionary, it is such an improvement over the traditional that I can almost put aside the fact that the insulation is essentially useless... Even freezing the first quarter's worth of water doesn't allow this bottle to stay cold on a 1.5 hour ride in 80F + heat. Buy the un-insulated version and take advantage of the valve design.
