Unlike any other Thule product, these locks were incredibly easy to install. Reasonable expectations dictate that these locks combined with any Thule rack will simply delay a motivated thief (as with a Kryptonite lock). Consider the alternative... without these locks your bike can be stolen in less than 3 seconds. With the locks a thief would be delayed and actually look like they're stealing something to passers by.
