Purchased for use with BMW 3 series. Must be about 5' 10" to put bikes on the rack without assistance. Each bike rack requires 2 locking cylinders.

I like the Criterium because I get my bike on and off my car and it is secure. However remember to get a lock set (another purchase) in addition to the rack so that you can fasten it down and it will be there when you need it.

When installed on factory racks, bikes may lean outboard a little - I just used a strap to tighten the bikes to each other and they came upright just fine.

This is a well engineered product that is easy to install and use. As with all roof-top carriers you have to be able to lift the bike up onto the rack which require some strength, especially with a tall vehicle like a minivan or SUV.
