one load bar has a deep scratch in the casing so it's hard to slide in the riser brackel past the point of the scratch

Comments about THULE LB50 Load Bars:
Originally I had just bought the Thule hull-a-ports for transporting my kayak with my factory rack. The factory cross bars were too flexible/ weak. The kayak would contact my roof during transport leaving scratches and would begin to oscillate significantly at around 60 mph. I bought the Thule Crossroads 450 feet and LB50 load bars and both problems were solved. Kayak rides much more stable at speeds 65mph+ and my roof remains unscratched. Only con with this system is wind noise, the Thule rack gets pretty noisy at higher speeds. I plan on buying the Thule fairing to hopefully solve this issue.

Comments about THULE LB50 Load Bars:
The Thule Load bars along with the roof mount worked great. I've used them from hauling my mountain bike to moving my canoe. Well worth the price for giving me added space my Tercel.
