I only got the big mouth carrier because my son's bike (16" wheel) is too small for a side arm. Overall, this does the job, although it's not as easy when loading the bike on top of it as it is with the side arm. I believe it takes a bit more effort when fitting the jaws to the frame of the bike.

Theses bike racks are just great... but don't forget to buy the locks which needs to be bought separately else the racks won't be secured on your car until properly locked!BTW, the racks are really easy to install but the guide [*].[...]

Watch if u have anything that would get in the way on your bottom tube ex: pump, water bottle etc. and the plug for where u would insert a lock fell out on my rack (ok because i installed locks) and also the end caps are not very secure! Other then that this rack is very very nice.

Easier than trunk racks. Easy installment with Aero Bars. So easy that uninstalling the carrier could be done even with the bike on it (be sure to lock the bike to the roof rack with a cable lock if security is an issue). It works well with small kid bikes as well as bigger 29" Mt. bikes. The end-caps snap off too easily. The lock plug on the arm is worthless as it pops out when securing the bike. Putting a lock in the carrier arm secures the bike to the carrier, but as stated, the carrier and bike together can be removed rather easily if not locked to the rack.

I purchased this rack to carry my old trusty Cannondale M2000 around Europe. It filled the bill with no problems. I have since been using it for my Cyclcross bike as well I just toss the bikes up on top of the car and within seconds I am tooling down the road without a care in the world, looking for my next adventure

As for transporting your bike, it works exceptionally well with the different frame types I have fitted into the product. It is easy to load & unload your bike, and it locks.
My gripe with the product is in its installation on the Thule roofbar system that I bought at the same time - the fit is not good, but works if you "bend" or slightly alter the provided hardware... or quite simply just apply brute force to create a "fit".
