I installed this on my car in 5 minutes. I like the thought that Thule put into rubberizing the straps that wrap around the rails and incorporating the tightening key into the locking mechanism. It helps eliminate carting around Allen keys and other tools. Once in place, it's rock solid.

The 450 Crossroad will probably fit just about any vehicle that has a factory roof rack. Installation is a snap, but I'm just not sure how long the rubber-covered metal attachment straps will hold up. The Rubber boots on the bottom of each mount do a great job of keeping the mount from slipping along the roof rack and each mount has has a wrench built in for convenience. The wrench just sets into the mount so we're keeping our fingers crossed they don't jiggle loose over time.
Price is steep, but it fits the bill...

Allowed me to reuse my existing load bars and locks from car #1 and mount them on car #2. A 100 pound load was no problem for the 450-series feet. A ski box with 4 skis remained rock solid. I was leary of the strap design but it worked well, as long as the top/bottom of the rail are parallel at the mount point.
