Great Ski/Snowboard Rack! I have a new Jeep Grand Cherokee with sport rails. It was easy to install and looks great. The fact that the rack loads on each side is a great advantage with any SUV. Some of my friends have other racks which load from one side only. With Higher SUV's, it can be a pain to fully load other racks without climbing up on something so that you can reach the opposite side. I would definately recommend this rack to everyone.
The only reason to get a different rack is if you are looking for a more universal rack that can also be used for other equipment such as bikes or kayaks.

Easy to install and affordable! Great product for those with factor installed racks. Very strong and stable. Only drawback is the somewhat vague muli-lingual instructions.

Everything I needed. Easy setup and use. Directions say to keep racks apart around 700 mm but seperated them further apart to accommodate my snowboard with the bindings attached with not problems.

Bought this for use with a Subaru Outback wagon. Fits beautifully on factory roof rack. Uses side rails rather than crossbars. Installation simple and solid. Allen wrench supplied could be longer to simplify installation but a very minor point. No additional tools needed. Lock system comes with unit. Opens & closes very easily. Design much better than my previous roof racks.

The Snowcats fits my WRX with factory rails just fine. You have to keep turning the hex screw until the bottom metal bracket conforms to the shape of your rails.
I also purchase the fairings but found out the hard way that the fairing can NOT be mounted with the snowcats. You can not get the mounting brackets onto the crossbars because the rubber cushion is in the way.

Bought the rack for cross-country skies.
I thought it would hold 6 pairs, but because of the camber of the skies it can't fit 6 pairs.
If you have the skies side-by-side you can get 5 pairs of cross-country.
Anyhow, good, but not as good as I had hoped.

Purchased this for my husband's Tahoe - was easy to set up and get onto the vehicle. Makes skiing with 2 kids SOOOOO much easier. Love the room it frees up in the back of the car. Super easy to put skis up and get everything closed up. We aren't super tall and can close these without having to stand on the siderails. Very quiet - we didn't notice any noise coming from the rack (with or without skis) while driving. Super happy with this purchase!!!

This was a great product for me because I dont have crossbars on my SUV (only side rails). If it had better instructions, it would have been pretty simple to install. I've already used it once without any problems. I highly recommend, but you might try to search the internet for instructions ... with words ... in English.
