I can't believe that Thule has an MSRP of [$] for this fit kit. It only consists of 8 long M6 (metric) bolts with special Thule theft-resistant bolt heads. On my car (2003 Mazda Protege 5), the bolts are actually TOO long and need to be cut so I can tilt open the sunroof. I'll be getting out my Dremel tool to shorten them.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
