Comments about MSR 1600 mL Stowaway Pot:
This is a great pot. It's the perfect balance between a pot that's to light and you can't cook in it for anything, and that cast iron skillet your grandpa tooted around. It's the perfect size, and the way the lid locks on it for storage, you can store stuff in it when packed. However, this pot, like every other I've had, develops carbon build up on the bottom that's impossible to clean off.

Comments about MSR 1600 mL Stowaway Pot:
nice pot but be aware that without a pour lip you will loose 1/3 of your coffee. I have not figured out , other than dipping from the pot how to get said coffee without making a hell of a mess

Comments about MSR 1600 mL Stowaway Pot:
I use this durable pot with a secure lid as a survival container. I place my survival gear inside and carry it with me on light planes, boats, and trips where contact with civilization can become iffy. It will hold items needed to walk out, empty Platypus Bottles, wire, para-cord, fire, emergency blanket, etc. Big enough but not too big. It cooks well and it's rugged. Maybe not for everyone but it goes from my Wrangler, to boat, to plane easy enough for me.
